TuneVA is where songs become memories. It is a place for singing official songbook songs, saving personal My Tune recordings, sharing privately with trusted people, and discovering opt-in public previews from other singers.
These guidelines are simple: treat every voice with care, share only what you have permission to share, and help keep TuneVA warm for families, friends, and singers.
1. What TuneVA Is
TuneVA is a singing and voice-memory app. People use it to sing songs they love, keep private recordings, request songs or corrections, create public previews if they choose, and share memories with trusted people.
TuneVA is not a talent contest. A voice can be meaningful even when it is quiet, imperfect, playful, old, young, or still learning.
2. Respect Every Voice
Do not mock, bully, harass, or shame someone for how they sing. Do not pressure people to sing, record, or share before they are ready.
Do not misuse another person's voice. Voices can carry family memories, identity, grief, joy, and trust. Treat them with care.
3. Share Only With Permission
Only upload or share recordings you created or have permission to share. If other people can be heard in a recording, ask them before sharing it.
If a recording includes a child, family member, friend, class, group, or guest, make sure sharing is appropriate and expected by the people involved.
4. My Tune Is Personal
My Tune is for personal recordings, originals, folk songs, family songs, humming, lullabies, practice takes, and songs TuneVA does not have yet.
My Tune is private by default. You are responsible for what you choose to record or share from it. Only share voices and memories you have permission to share.
5. Family Stage Is for Trusted People
Family Stage is meant for private sharing with people you know and trust. Invite only people who should be part of that listening circle.
Do not copy, repost, or share family recordings outside the intended circle. Private memories should stay private unless the people involved agree otherwise.
6. Discover Is Opt-In
Discover is not automatic. You choose whether to create a public profile or public preview. If you do not opt in, TuneVA should not treat your voice as discoverable.
Public previews should be respectful, appropriate, and shared with permission from everyone who can be heard.
7. Duets and Group Songs
Future duet and group-song features should follow the same consent principle: everyone involved should know what is being shared and agree before it is shared.
If someone changes their mind about sharing a group memory, listen with care and handle the request respectfully.
8. Do Not Post Harmful Content
Please do not upload, share, or promote content that includes:
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted shaming
- Hate or demeaning content
- Threats, abuse, or intimidation
- Sexual content involving minors
- Recordings shared without consent
- Impersonation or misleading identity claims
- Illegal content or instructions for illegal activity
- Spam, scams, or deceptive promotion
- Attempts to bypass privacy, sharing, or access controls
9. Reports and Blocks
If something feels unsafe, disrespectful, or shared without permission, you can report it or block people where those tools are available.
TuneVA may remove content or limit accounts that break these guidelines. Please use reports honestly so they help protect the community.
