1. Acceptance
By creating an account, saving a recording, or otherwise using TuneVA, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What TuneVA Is
TuneVA is a singing and music-memory app for the songs you love, in any language and with your own circle of people. It is not a singing exam and not a talent competition. When TuneVA reviews a recording, the review is about basic audio clarity, technical quality, and whether the recording matches the selected song — never a judgment of your talent. A take that "needs another try" simply means a clearer or more complete recording is needed; you can always sing it again.
3. Your Account
You may need an account (your Singer Page) to save recordings and use personalized features. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and the activity under your account.
Do not share your account with others, impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive activity, or attempt to bypass account restrictions.
4. Acceptable Use
Use TuneVA only for lawful and respectful purposes. You must not upload illegal, abusive, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, exploitative, misleading, or infringing content. You must not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious files, or spam submissions.
5. Your Recordings and Review
TuneVA is for short singing recordings in your own voice. You should save only recordings that you created or have permission to submit, and that do not include another person's voice without their permission.
Recordings may be reviewed for basic audio clarity, technical quality, and song match, and may be added to your TuneVA journey, asked to be tried again, retained, or removed for quality, legal, safety, or security reasons.
6. Privacy and Sharing
Your recordings are private by default. TuneVA does not publish your recordings. If a sharing, community, or family feature (such as a Family Stage) is added in the future, sharing will be permission-based and under your control — your songs are shared only when you choose to share them. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Song Content and Intellectual Property
Songs, lyrics, music, and related rights remain with their respective owners. TuneVA does not provide copyrighted backing tracks or full copyrighted lyrics unless properly licensed. Do not upload backing tracks, karaoke tracks, original commercial recordings, or copyrighted audio you do not have rights to submit.
TuneVA, including its software, design, branding, and structure, is owned by its operators and licensors. You keep the rights you have in recordings you create. By saving recordings, you grant TuneVA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and review those recordings and related details so the app can operate, keep itself safe, and improve as described in these terms and the Privacy Policy.
8. How We Use Recordings
TuneVA may process your recordings to operate the app, review submissions, maintain safety, support features, and improve product quality (including its audio and song-matching features). We do not sell your recordings. Please do not save recordings in TuneVA if you do not want them processed for these purposes as described here and in the Privacy Policy.
9. Service Availability and Changes
TuneVA is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and may change over time. Features may be added, modified, limited, paused, or removed to improve reliability, security, quality, legal compliance, or product direction. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
10. Account Deletion
You can stop using TuneVA at any time and can delete your account in the app or by contacting us. Account deletion removes your account and linked personal data from active systems where technically possible, with limited temporary exceptions for backups, security, and legal records. Deletion is not instant or one-tap; see our Account Deletion page for details and timeframes.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TuneVA and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or service availability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Termination
TuneVA may suspend or terminate accounts, remove recordings, restrict access, or take other reasonable action if users violate these terms, create legal or security risk, or misuse the app. Some data may be retained where needed for security, abuse prevention, legal obligations, or backups, as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the TuneVA operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where consumer-protection or data-protection laws require different treatment, those mandatory rights remain unaffected.
14. Contact
